Totowa man to pay $2.32 million to settle FTC claim over prepaid calling cards

A Totowa man and several companies he operates have agreed to pay $2.32 million to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they duped a largely immigrant clientele out of millions of dollars through deceptive marketing of prepaid calling cards that delivered significantly less talk time than advertised, the agency said yesterday.
